Tonia Bates — ADS

Tonia Bates, Business Manager
BA, University of Western Australia. Political Theory.

Tonia is the accounts manger, client liaison and office manager for ADS and is fully versed in introducing new clients to the agency and assisting the team to create its large range of projects for its numerous clients.

After completing her degree Tonia worked in the UK for an upmarket London Bond Street antique dealer and then with a contemporary art gallery in Tunbridge Wells assisting with clients, artists and the running of numerous events and exhibitions.

Upon returning to Western Australia, Tonia continued her career in the field of politics becoming the Personal Assistant and right hand help to the Hon Julie Bishop MP, Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party. After a natural break to raise her 3 children she now works full time for ADS as a Director, Account and Client Liaison Manager, copy and content writer, proof reader and editor. Tonia is a natural networker and nothing is too hard for her, client satisfaction is imperative to Tonia and she strives for perfection in everything she does. Tonia will truly go out of her way to ensure complete and utter client happiness.

Tonia has incredible energy and enthusiasm and is also extensively involved in the local community working closely with local schools in many fund-raising and Green Scene matters. She also provides pro bono work to many local organisations such as being the joint founder and current Secretary for St Luke’s Community Garden in Mosman Park and the Secretary of the Juniors at the Western Knights Soccer Club.

Finally Tonia is an amazing cook and mother to her 3 ever growing children and one massive Weimaraner.

“The City of Joondalup Inside-Out Billboard project has attracted state and national attention, with its eye catching internally lit billboard on the side of the Library in the heart of the City centre. The billboard displays commissioned artworks by Western Australian artists including Helen Smith, Chloe Tupper and Christophe Canato and will be changed every six months. The billboard is a beautiful way to display artwork and has easily withstood the impacts of the West facing sun and harsh winds close to the Western Australian coastline.
