Facebook Tags
Word is out that Facebook is not content with its entire range of services and that is it testing a new feature similar to LinkedIn and potentially introducing profile tags. The profile tags, if adopted, will allow your Facebook friends to add tags to your current profile describing more about who you are and what you’re into. These tags can be added by yourself or by friends which you can decide to approve before they enter the public domain. These new tags can and probably will be anything you want including emojis.
If you are an existing LinkedIn user the tags will be similar to adding new friends with the option to add, ignore or decline. Once your tags are in place other friends within your group can “like” and they will be displayed in ranking or popular order such as recommendations on your LinkedIn profile.
Currently this service is only in early testing and may or may not be rolled out across the ever growing all encompassing medium that is Facebook.
